The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 10/7/2019.

The San Carlos real estate market was “balanced” last week, for lack of a better word.  The number of new listings was slightly exceeded by the number of homes that were put into contract, thus lowering the number of homes for sale to 19.  This is in marked contrast to a year ago at this time when we were sitting on nearly twice that much inventory, and homes were sitting on the market for much longer.  This is a big part of the reason why the home values in San Carlos have remained relatively stable this year, while other communities have seen their average home price drop in 2019 as we discussed in the Q3 Review last week.
