The Recap.
With no new listings to hit the market in the past few weeks, the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos has slowly dwindled as we approach the end of the year. As of this morning, there are only 11 single-family homes for sale in all of San Carlos. This is not terribly surprising, given the time of the year and the relatively tepid activity in the market.
Barring any unforeseen statistical catastrophe in the final three weeks of the year, the San Carlos real estate market will once again post positive gains from the previous year. While this may not seem noteworthy after a decade of strong growth, numerous communities on the Peninsula will not be able to stake such a claim, as house pricing is definitely starting to level in the Bay Area.
