Happy New Year to everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and are ready for a brand new decade of real estate!

The inventory level of homes for sale is at pretty much a bare-bones level as we start off the new year, but that is to be expected.  Look for the number of new listings to increase at a steady rate over the first few months of January as the early-bird sellers look to take advantage of the incredibly low inventory.

Despite the challenges that Bay Area real estate market faced in 2019, San Carlos managed to weather the storm very well in comparison to other Peninsula communities.  I will review the numbers in more detail later this week in the annual real estate wrap-up.
