Inventory continues to remain low in San Carlos as we head into the final week of January.  As of this morning, there are only 10 single-family homes for sale in San Carlos.  The lack of fresh inventory continues to frustrate buyers who are hoping for some additional choices, as is evident with how quickly some of the newer listings have been selling.

For the first time in quite a few years, the Super Bowl will have a significant impact on the local real estate market, since many sellers believe that waiting until after the game to list a home is a sound strategy, especially when the home team is playing.  Let's wait to see if there's an uptick in inventory after the Niners win next weekend.
