The Recap.

The listing activity in San Carlos finally began to pick up last week, as the traditional post-Super Bowl spring market is about in full swing.  Eight new single-family listings hit the market in San Carlos last week, but that was somewhat counterbalanced by the 5 homes that were put into contract during the same period.  The net result is that the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos sits at 15 as of this morning.

Buyers were very decisive last week.  3 of the 5 homes that were put into escrow last week were only on the market for a week or less, and open houses were very well attended.  This is a good indication that the market is shrugging off the sluggishness of the latter months of 2019, and is starting with a new energy in 2020.
