The Recap.
After a robust listing performance two weeks ago, the San Carlos real estate market went back into deep freeze mode last week as sellers opted to not have their first open house weekend coincide with President's Day Weekend and the subsequent ski week after that. Accounting for the three homes that went into contract during the same period, the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos shrunk back down to 12 total.
It's interesting to note that the average price of a home that's listed for sale today in San Carlos is nearly $3,000,000. Granted, a number of these homes have been on the market a long time, but it's telltale evidence that San Carlos is getting more expensive each year.
