The Recap.

Home buying tapered off a bit last week after two weeks of solid purchasing activity.  Only 5 homes were put into contract, compared to 11 the week prior.  The rate of new listings rebounded, with 9 new homes hitting the market — double the number from last week.  That pushed the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos up to 25 as of this morning, giving buyers even more choices. Showing activity seemed to be strong this past weekend, indicating that there are still a lot of solid buyers in the market.
