The Recap.

Listing and sales activity tapered off last week, perhaps due to all of the interest surrounding the Presidential Election.  There was only one new listing to enter the San Carlos market, while 6 existing homes were put into contract.  That pushed the inventory of single-family homes for sale down to 19.  This is the first time that the inventory has dropped below 20 in quite a few weeks, and we can probably expect it to stay low as we head into the holiday months.   If you're thinking of selling your home, now would be an excellent time to get it ready for 2021 and hit the ground running early in the new year.
