The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 6/28/21

The Recap.

San Carlos home prices continue to surge to all time highs, and we'll discuss some of those data points in more detail later this week when I recap the first 6 months of 2021. There were some very large premiums paid over the asking price for homes that closed last week — a trend we've consistently seen as we've emerged from the COVID lockdown — and there doesn't seem to be anything holding this market back. Even persistent talk of inflation hasn't tempered the intensity of the market. I was perusing the open house of a $4.5M listing in Woodside yesterday, and it was packed with legitimate and motivated buyers. As you'll see in the numbers later this week, this market is still surging full steam ahead.
