The Recap.

Home buyers were surprisingly busy last week in the San Carlos residential real estate market, considering that we are in the middle of July. 13 listings were snapped up in just 7 days, and that was somewhat counterbalanced by the 8 new listings that hit the market. This pulled the inventory of homes for sale down to 20 in all of San Carlos. It seems that while a good number of buyers have indeed left for vacations, there are still quite a few staying home and engaged in the home buying process. This behavior is not as dramatic as last year's July during COVID, but it's definitely more busy than a normal July in this market.
