The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 8/2/21

The Recap.

This past week I was interviewed by the San Mateo Daily Journal to talk about home prices and the housing demand on the Peninsula. I know I've posted these numbers already on the blog, but the average price of a single-family home in San Carlos has jumped by 15% over last year, and the total sales revenue has jumped by a whopping 54% from last year. That market strength was on display last week, as you can see from the sales figures below. 10 new listings hit the market, which is really a rarity for the last week of July. But it's clear that the market is gearing up for a VERY strong fall season, and unless something drastically different happens, 2021 will set sales records across the board in San Carlos.
