The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 11/8/21

The Recap.

Buying activity dropped quite a bit last week in San Carlos, as one might expect as we head into the final two months of the year. Only 3 homes were put into contract, while there were 9 new listings to hit the market. This disparity helped drive the inventory of homes for sale back up to 14 — still a very low number, but it's very consistent with the shortage of listings that we are experiencing throughout the Peninsula.

It's mind-boggling to see that the average price of a home listed in San Carlos right now has topped the $3M for at least the second week in a row. The barrier to entry just continues to get higher each week.
