The Recap.

If it feels like there have been very few listings to look at in the month of January, you're not imagining things. As we head into the last day of the month, there have only been 17 new single-family listings to hit the market this January. That's just above half of what we saw in January of last year, and the lowest level since 2017. That's why the inventory of homes for sale this entire month has been in the single digits. Hopefully February will bring a bounty of new homes for buyers to choose from.
