The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 3/21/22

The Recap:
Talk about a tight market! Last week in San Carlos, eight single-family home listings were put into contract, but there were no new listings to replace them. That means starting off this week, there are only 6 homes for sale in San Carlos, and two of them are not even built yet. To make matters worse for buyers, two of the remaining listings will be pending by the middle of the week.
You can see the impact that this squeeze is having on the market by simply looking at the Homes Sold section below. The premiums that are currently being fetched for these homes are incredible. Add to this the reality of rising home mortgage interest rates, and you now have the perfect storm for prices to simply continue to increase.
