The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 4/11/22

The Recap:
Perhaps it's because interest rates are significantly increasing, but home buyers were very busy last week in San Carlos. 11 homes were put into contract, while only 4 new homes hit the market. This disparity literally drained the inventory of homes for sale in the entire city from double digits back down to 9.
For the second straight week, the average price of a home sold in San Carlos topped $3,000,000. For those of you who have lived in this great community of a few decades, this has to seem unreal. Either that or you've gotten so used to it like I have that nothing surprises you anymore! Either way, this market seems to keep setting new heights each week so brace yourselves for more crazy numbers next week.
