The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 10/31/22

The Recap:

For the second straight week, not a single San Carlos home closed at a price that was higher than its original list price. Considering the state of the economy and the high interest rates, that really shouldn't come as a surprise. But home buyers are still out in force, and homes are still selling. We're just seeing the results now of the massive price shift that began to happen 30-60 days ago, and these prices simply reflect adjustments that needed to be made in the list prices of certain homes. As we head into November, look for a bit more aggressive movement in the market as buyers make a last push to land a home before the holidays, and sellers look to get their homes sold before they have to make some tough year-end decisions.
