The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 11/7/22

The Recap:

There's a lot of red ink again this week in the Sold section of the post. Of the 5 homes that closed last week, 4 of them failed to achieve their original list price. Only one home squeaked out small premium over the asking price. More noteworthy was the fact that only one home was put into contract last week, which is characteristic of the slow and deliberate mentality of buyers in this market right now. But buyers should note that many of the 34 homes that are on the market now will likely be pulled off the market for the holidays, so if getting into a home before the end of the year is a priority, it's time to stop cutting bait and start fishing.
