The Recap:
The activity in the San Carlos Real estate market picked up somewhat last week, as everyone seems to be winding down their extended New Year's vacations. Three new listings tested the early-2023 market, but that only brought the total inventory of homes for sale up to nine, which is not a lot of additional choice for buyers. More homes should be hitting the market as we get later into January and exit this unprecedented rainy spell.
The days-on-market figures for the sold and pending sale listing are still quite long as you can see in the tables below. Homes are still selling, but they're sitting on the market quite a bit longer than we have grown accustomed to in the normally brisk San Carlos real estate market.
