The Recap:

Once again, home buyers were out in surprisingly strong numbers in San Carlos last week. Buyers put six of the single-family homes into contract. This is a bit surprising because late-June is usually quite slow in Peninsula real estate market since many buyers have checked out for the summer. But the post-pandemic, high-interest rate world is anything but normal right now.

Six new listings also hit the MLS last week with three of them carrying list prices in excess of $4M. This is also somewhat out of character for the summer market but it underscores the increasing number of new construction and remodeled homes that will be cropping up all over San Carlos.
