The Recap:

This weeks statistics reflect the brief uptick in listing and sales that we saw in late-September and into early October. Thirteen homes changed hands last week, which is the highest one-week total that we've seen in months.

But buying and selling activity remained pretty tepid last week – only two new listings entered the market, and the same number of homes went under contract, so the inventory remains very tight with only 11 homes available to purchase.

We are now fully into the month of November and if the calendar follows a traditional year, the market will start to slow down this month as we head into the holiday season. However, tomorrow is also election day, and the results could significantly alter the trajectory of the residential real estate market. It will be a very interesting week!
