One Hot Neighborhood.

The Highlands Park neighborhood has become one of the most sought after areas for many home buyers looking to call San Carlos “home”. And why not? This relatively new neighborhood (by San Carlos standards) has a lot to boast about. The homes on the 4 street that comprise this neighborhood are newer and larger than many homes in San Carlos, and they all feature expansive flat lots — some even have breathtaking view of the bay, like my recent listing at 161 Glasgow Lane.

All of these home also benefit from their close proximity to Highlands Park, where there's something for everyone. Whether it's the new kid's playground, the ample field space for running around, or the 1/2 mile trail walking trail that encircles the grounds, there's always positive energy emanating from this park.

Another key reason that buyers place this neighborhood at the top of their list? The schools. This neighborhood is part of the award-winning San Carlos School District, and also falls within the boundary for Carlmont High School, the latter of which is literally the number one priority for many buyers.

But once you get to know this neighborhood a little better, what you feel is a strong sense of community. If it seems like everyone knows everyone else, it's probably true. Many of the residents here are original owners from the late 1980's when the neighborhood was built on the grounds of the old San Carlos High School, and others have lived here for several decades with no plans to leave.

Because of these reasons, not many homes come up for sale in this pocket of paradise. That's why I'm thrilled to showcase my latest listing in the Highlands at 205 Aberdeen Drive.

Something for Everyone.

Just like the neighborhood, 205 Aberdeen Drive checks a lot of boxes for San Carlos home buyers. It has been extensively updated throughout with elegant European Oak hardwood floors, a spacious remodeled chef's kitchen, and all modern bathrooms. Every corner of this home has been touched in one way or another. The layout is ideal, with the primary suite and two bedrooms upstairs, and the fourth bedroom conveniently located on the ground floor.

The outdoor space at this home is simply sublime, and perfectly embodies California outdoor living. The back of the home opens up onto a stunning patio covered by a pergola and has ample lawn space for relaxing or entertaining. You'll enjoy the built-in gas barbecue, the cozy gas fire-pit, and the overall privacy of this amazing space. There's even a concrete pad that's pre-wired and ready for a hot-tub.

This home also has all of the modern climate enhancements that today's homeowners demand — central heat and AC, solar electric, and dual-pane window throughout.

Come See It!

Like I said above, homes don't come up for sale very often in the San Carlos Highlands neighborhood. The last three homes to sell here were snapped up in less than a week, and 205 Aberdeen Drive should fare no differently.

You can check out all of the photos, including an immersive 3D floorplan and neighborhood video by clicking here.

Better yet, I'll be hosting open houses on both Saturday and Sunday from 1-4PM, so come out and experience a stunning home in what is arguably the most sought-after neighborhood in San Carlos!
