The Recap:
The activity in the San Carlos real estate market dropped a bit last week, perhaps because of the fact that we're in the biggest holiday weekend of the winter aside from Christmas. There were only two new single-family home listings last week, and an equivalent number of homes that were put under contract.
But the good news is that we are still slightly ahead of the pace of listings at this time in 2024, which is a good sign. Despite concerns about tariffs and inflation, the real estate market is still pushing forward. Only time will tell if this momentum will continue.
