The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 06/16/25

The Recap:
Home sales activity remained fairly steady last week in the San Carlos residential real estate market, even though the summer vacation period is nearly in full swing. All the schools are out on break now, and many people are heading to destinations outside the Bay Area. Despite this, five new listings entered the market, and another handful were put under contract. Ironically, three of the five new listings are all on Howard Avenue. The net result was that the inventory of homes available remained unchanged at 22.
This number will likely drop slowly as we progress into summer. Some of the listings that haven't sold will likely be pulled off the market until the fall, and other potential sellers will wisely heed the real estate calendar and wait until August or September to list their homes when the buyers are all back in town.
