The Recap:
Welcome to the last full week of August! It's amazing how quickly this month disappeared from the calendar. I would characterize this August as being on the busier side compared to August of previous years. Normally, we don't see the fall activity pick up until after Labor Day weekend, but as I posted a couple of weeks ago, home buyers seemed to be grounded and active this month.
Just this past week, another seven homes were put under contract in San Carlos, and that pulled the inventory of homes for sale back down to only 15, which is pretty thin for this time of year. But I think good news is on the horizon for home buyers because there should be a good surge of new inventory hitting the market in the next two weeks.
On that note, I have a spectacular four-bedroom White Oaks home that will be hitting the market this coming Friday. Stay tuned to the blog for more details later this week!
