The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 12/22/25

The Recap:

Several impressive sales closed last week in San Carlos, but this home that fetched a sales price that was over $1M above the list price definitely took the cake (and no, that's not a typo). But this home, which I heard garnered 30 offers, and the other two that fetched six-figure premiums, reinforce the fact that there are still far more buyers looking to move to San Carlos than there are homes for sale, and that discrepancy is not going to be solved anytime soon – there are only three single-family homes for sale right now in San Carlos as we head toward the end of the year.

As expected, new listings were nonexistent last week, and this trend is likely to continue this week due to the holiday-shortened window.
