The Recap:

I hope everyone is enjoying what is now the midpoint of the summer vacation period. The activity in the San Carlos real estate market accurately reflects the calendar, as only four new listings hit the market last week. There were six homes that were put under contract, so it's evident that buyers are still sticking around and shopping for homes. That disparity between pending sales and new listings, however, pulled the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos back down to only 17, so the pickings are a little slim for home buyers right now.

But that will likely change as we hit the month of August. I am anticipating an early start to the Fall market, as home sellers won't wait until after Labor Day Weekend to list their homes, as is traditionally done in the fall. I have two fabulous San Carlos homes that will be on the market in the first two weeks of August – stay tuned for more details!
