The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 04/14/25

The Recap:
We haven't started a new week off with more than twenty homes for sale in San Carlos in quite some time. But that's how we are starting this week, and that's because there was a solid surge of nine new listings just last week, and that pushed our inventory level up to 22 homes for sale in San Carlos as of this morning. Historically, this would not have been newsworthy other than how low that number actually is, but in a normal market in past years we would easily have twice as many homes for sale during the mid-week of April.
Home buyers still seem to be powering through the economic volatility and uncertainty. Five homes were put under contract last week, and four of those barely lasted a week on the market. My listing at 185 Vine Street garnered six offers on just the sixth day on the market, so the buyers are still buying.
Speaking of new listings, I will be launching an amazing 5BR/3BA home on a large flat lot in a prime San Carlos location later this week. This is one of the finest homes I've ever listed in San Carlos, so I'm super excited to roll this one out to you. I know all Realtors say, “You don't want to miss this one!” But I really mean it when I tell you, “You don't want to miss this one!” lol… Stay tuned for more details later this week.
